A long time favorite of the SydGen herd sires for the pleasing disposition of his progeny combined with a high level of fertility and structural soundness, Connection offers a top 1% ranking on the $W index, while spreading to the top 2% on CED.

Connection offers high accuracy growth and quality traits among the top 20% for $B and ranks in the top 25% for WEPD and $G, and the top 30% for YEPD, IMF and $F.

His top 10% ranking for SC, top 15% ranking for Milk, and Mature Weight EPD in the lowest 25% proves his quality is balanced throughout all traits.

Connection was the $50,000 top-selling bull calf of the 2000 SydGen Sale and his first calf crop included the top indexing heifer calf of the 2002 SydGen calf crop, the $10,000 top-selling heifer calf and the $8,000 second high-selling bull calf of the record-setting million dollar 2002 SydGen sale.

In the 2006 SydGen Sale, Connection sired the top-indexing and top-selling bull calf, the new ORIgen sire SydGen CC&7, at $39,000. A daughter was top-selling bred heifer at $11,000, and a flush sister featured as Lot 1 brought in a total of $28,400.

Connection had an impressive adjusted yearling scrotal measure of 42 cm., producing high quality frozen semen at less than 11 months of age. Connection semen achieved a top ranking 79% conception rate on timed breeding in the 2001 UMC semen viability study, making him a logical choice for commercial heifer breeding projects.
