• The $26,000 half-interest second high-selling bull of the Fall 2020 Friendship Farms Bull Sale from the $140,000 valued Friendship and Wilks donor that records the Number 1 $Beef value index and one of the top four $Combined value indexes among the multitude of great daughters of the ORIgen foundation Pathfinder Sire and record production and sales sire Hoover Dam. Maternal brothers and sisters have ranked among the top five non-parent bulls and females for $Beef value index and $Combined value index for the past several years with a maternal brother to Rito Prime sold for $24,000 to Grimmius Cattle in the spring of 2020 with a flush sister to Rito Prime sold for $13,500 in that same sale. Another maternal brother sold half interest for $110,000 to ST Genetics in spring of 2019 with his flush sister sold for $90,000 to Cox Ranches while another sold for $23,000 after a heifer pregnancy from the mating sold for $25,000 in the spring of 2018.
• Two more maternal brothers topped the 2018 Wilks Ranch Fall Bull Sale at $70,000 each for half interest with sisters selling for $47,000 and $35,000 with two more sisters selling for $60,000 and $35,000 in the Fall 2019 Wilks sale. Among more than 1,700 non-parent sons of Jet Black, Rito Prime 9J8 records the Number 1 $Beef value index, the Number 1 Marbling score EPD and the Number 1 $Angus x Holstein and $Angus x Jersey indexes.
