• Gunsmoke was the second high selling Jesse James son selling at the 2023 Schaff Angus Production Sale where he sold to Hickory Hollow Farm. He was an impressive individual from a phenotypic standpoint.
• He was described as: “A performance headliner with tons of muscle, volume and massive dimension.” He had a weaning ratio of 109 and was among the seven top-indexing bulls of the entire calf crop.
• His Pathfinder dam by Resource records a weaning ratio of 105 on 7 calves and a progeny ribeye ratio of 106 on 9 progeny. She is the #2 ribeye EPD cow in the entire SAV herd.
